Linux Persistent LiveCD not saving changes
#1
Good day,

I have try to work with persistent mode but I face a lot of issues. Using LiLi or any other Windows-based utility every change I make to USB is not saved (mostly repos and updates) Any help?

Welcome to the XBMC forums.

As an alternative, you can install XBMC on another USB flash drive. This way, you can boot your system to XBMC when desired and any and all settings are saved to the flash drive.

thank you, I have try this option also but I saw 2 things that I didn't like. 1st the booting speed (for sure it has to do with my usb stick but in live/persistent mode the speed was noticeable) and second during the installation I choose not the autologin (probably mistake?) which didn't bring me to the XBMC desktop. Login with the account I create it leave me in endless loop between... I didn't know because speed and loops after 10 minutes was quite annoying.
