Tongue
Hi Everyone

i have one of the old Revo 3600 running the latest stable version of XBMCbuntu, i am having two issues
(1) When i start the media centre and the TV is off or not on the correct channel (HDMI2)
(2) If i leave the media centre on and watch other channel the TV some time goes into standby for a few seconds

Does anyone know if this is a common issue

Thanks for any help

Try extracting the EDID of the TV and make nvidia driver use the extracted EDID. That way it will think the TV is always on and connected.

I have tried to find out as much info as possible around EDID, but i dont quite understand what i need to do, i have looked at the links below

Adapt that howto to your system: http://openelec.tv/forum/68-audio/61795-...d-on#69329

OpenELEC:
xorg.conf: /storage/.config/xorg.conf
edid.bin /storage/.config/edid.bin

Ubuntu:
xorg.conf /etc/X11/xorg.conf
edid.bin /etc/X11/edid.bin

You have to adjust the paths and exactly follow the howto.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.
