Are there any plans for Team-XBMC to release official addons for the popular ones like

nope...XBMC team dont do "official addons" from what i can tell. There are just addons..people that want it in the official repository, go through the proper channels and the rest either make there own repository or just have the link on there thread. Just because its in the official repository, doesnt make it a official addon. Hulu+, Netflix and Amazon already have there addons. Netflix is a hit or miss with no more API support and as for the rest, i dont really use them since i run playon from XBMC.
