Hi
I am having playback issues at 60fps. Setup:
Win7 64bit, XBMC 12.2 Frodo
Shuttle XS35GT-V3 (Atom 2700, AMD Radeon 7410M with 8.890 (latest) driver), SSD, 8GB ram
HDMI output via Yamaha receiver to LG tv
When playing 60fps content (such as NHL Gamecenter Live addon stream at 4500 kbps) I get 2-3 dropped frames per second giving very jittery playback. No issues when I knock it down to a 30fps feed. At 60fps the CPU utilization hovers around 10-15%.
edit: an OpenElec install running from a USB stick on the above machine gives flawless 60fps playback. Also perfect playback at 60 fps on my laptop (Lenovo X1 Carbon, i7, Intel HD 4000, 8GB ram, Win7 etc...)
I tried the various settings in all combinations:
- full screen as opposed to windowed
- disable / enable vertical blank sync
- disable / enable match refresh to playback
- dxva forced / rendering autodetect
Any suggestions? I desperately would like to be able to watch 60fps content... I can provide further details/logs if it would help to get to the bottom of this.
Thanks in advance!
