Hi all,
Big issue that's spoiling my enjoyment of XBMC just now is performance of the official remote for iPad - it is hugely laggy. Just a simple STOP operation which should be instant takes maybe 5seconds to take effect, so you can imagine the fun I have trying to rewind or skip. The network is quiet and the wifi signal strength is very good. Is this type of behaviour common?

Update.....

As a last ditch I tried a different App - Sybu - result - no more lag issues !! I am of course very happy but cannot understand why the official app has lag issues. I loaded it onto 2 different ios machines both with the same result - stop/pause/ fwd/rev commands all very laggy to the point of being unusable.
Thanks to Sybu I am now very close to being in XBMC heaven! - I am still getting intermittent disconnection when some titles are playing. This seems to be a network issue rather than an app issue - TBC
