I have just moved back to using XBMC after a little while away. I have a new box I am setting up at the moment.

I have a media library that I have used Ember to manage. I have just added the "TV Shows" collection to XBMC and it is manually scraping all the media and ignoring the saved info from Ember.

Is there something obvious that I have forgotten to do?

Use the Frodo button in movie and tv show settings.
XBMC download only actor thumbs for tv shows. Ember can't download this thumbs atm.
