I am always curious about other peoples build and how they compare to my setup so I am wondering what your home setup is
Mine is
Server: Windows 8 Pro x64 (Tried linux but couldn't get some feature to work) Also MySQL Database for XBMC
Desktop: Windows 8 Pro x64 With Samsung 830 128gb SSD and 1TB WD Black and HD Radeon 6850
HTPC 1 (Lounge):AMD Mini-ITX with onboard graphics Running Openelec
HTPC 2 (Bedroom): AMD Micro-ATX with Onboard Graphics Running Win 8 Pro
HTPC 3 (Other Bedroom) Refurbished HP DC8000 with Nvidia GeForce 210 and Openelec
all Connected through Cat6 Ethernet With Billion 7800n Modem/Router and TP-Link TL-WR1043ND Router Tweaked to Act as a network switch (plan to replace with a proper 8 or 16 Port switch at some point)
This is just a basic outline of what I have I am planning and saving to rebuild my server and network so will update when I do
