Do you think this android device would be worth it?

My Acer Revo is not doing so well. I want to move it to my bedroom, move the appletv2 (piece of junk) to my spare bedroom and replace the livingroom machine (which was the acer revo).

The original one that I got in 2009. It has problems with some audio codecs and has been freezing up lately.

Either way I want to replace the apple tv 2... It is still running the old firmware (before they made the big UI change) so I can't use netflix or anything without upgrading it to 5.3 (and there is probably never going to be an untethered jailbreak for it).
The apple tv 2 freezes up all the time, is slow to respond and reboots randomly.

According to this page, the answer is not good for xbmc: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Android_hardware

Best thing to do when evaluating an android box is to look up the chip inside it (in this case an A10), and then search for the chip name, rather than the name of the hardware box itself.
