First time I have seen this error, show was renamed using the renamer, but for some reason XBMC wont pick it up in the library. I do use thetvdb for thescraper as well as for the renamer. All of the other episodes of famil guy show up in the library and havent had this problem for family guy or any other show since I have been using xbmc.
When I went into Videos > Files and down to the directory I see the episode, when I pressed "i" i tried to manually scan it, it said no information found, and now when I press "i" on episode 2, the menu doesnt come up at all, i also pressed "i" on episode 1 and the Season 12 folder and the information menu does not come up, however, Season 12 episode 1 is in the library.

All of my shows are named using this structure and it is not a problem for any others.

I'm having the same issue. don't know why it can't find the episodes even though the naming/folder structure is correct.

People over on this thread http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=175290 also seem to be having the same issues and it appears to be platform independent

looks like any episodes scraped from early today on are not being picked up through tvdb scraper

Delete cache file(s) from:
C:\Users\(name)\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\cache\scrapers\metadata.tvdb.com

then update
