Is anyone working on h265 support?

h265 is next generation codec that eventually will replace x264. x265 project started and there are already builds of encoder out there.

I might be mistaken but does xbmc use FFmpeg for playback?

h265 (or HEVC) is the next generation video format that will be replacing h264.
I was just wondering if anyone on xbmc dev team is working on preliminary support.
