Can't start XBMC 12.2 Frodo after install on Mac Mini
#1
I am trying to install Frodo 12.2 (xbmc-12.2-x86_64.dmg) on my mac mini. when I try to start XBMC from applications I get "The application XBMC quit unexpectedly" I had a previous version (can't remember which) that I deleted. I also renamed the XBMC folder in the application Support folder. No new xbmc folder was created and no logs appear to have been created. The problem details are below. I looked in the places listed for logs but couldn't find any. I have another mac mini on which I installed Frodo with no problems at all. Any help is greatly appreciated. Let me know how I can provide additional information.

Thanks All.

If I remember correctly, Frodo requires Snow Leopard (10.6) or higher.

Ah, You are correct. Until I get the OSx upgrade is there somewhere I can download an older version of XBMC that will work with 10.5.8? Like an idiot I didn't save my previous version.

Thanks for your help.

12.2 doesn't work on 10.9 either! So, I'm not quite sure what was the point of this update?
Only nightly build of 13.0 does...
Right?

There is also 12.3 beta. http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=176721
Still being tested. If you want to participate you should read the first post of that thread carefully regarding bug reports etc.
