Acer Aspire XC-105

Hi Everyone,

I've done a search for this but couldn't find anything. Just wondering if this would be suitable to run XBMC?

Specs:
AMD A4-5000 Quad Core
4gb Ram
500gb Hard drive
AMD Radeon HD8330 graphics.

At £160 it looks ok to me but I'm certainly no expert!

Kabini APU is perfectly fine for XBMC
Case looks quite nice too for PC.

Hi Folks

Were you all planning on using XBMC with Windows? I just got mine, and have been trying Ubuntu with no luck. Anyone had any joy with Linux?

Hi, I bought Acer XC-105 and install Windows 8, I downloaded the drivers from Acer website. The XBMC plays smoothly. Even the largest file of 1080p of any format plays brilliantly. VLC plays smooth as well.
Beware:
Some people complained about lack of usb3 driver on Windows 7. The downloads on Acer website is for Windows 8 Sad
And some ppl complained about Ubuntu that the Xbmc was jumpy.
