Hello, I want to build my first htpc for xbmc. I read sticky posts on this forum and I'm still don't know what to choose. I want htpc that play videos on 1080P without any freezes, for music library, torrent, youtube and other streaming sites.
Already have:
tv: Pioneer kuro krp-600p 1080p
amplituner: Denon avr 2309
remote: philips pronto TSU9300
Controllers topic is especially confusing for me. My remote probably isn't best solution for xbmc, it would be hard for my familly to get used to a new one so I think that it will only be use to startup system, changing input on tv. Further communication will proceed via smartfon/tablet. Aditionaly I will get some wireless keyboard with touchpad. Is it good solution? How smartfon app can communicate with htpc? My wifi router is located near tv so i figured out I don't need wifi, just cabel.
In recommendation thread there are builds, that have build-in audio 7.1, s/pdif systems etc. For what I know, even best solutions like that won't give me high quality audio, so I think i will go with some nice usb DAC.
Can you recommend good setup for me? I'm sure it will be for windows, some 64gb SSD. I won't limit budget on it, I wouldn't even know in what currency am I supposed to do it
I have money for it, just recommend best solution for my purpose. Also i don't want to buy stuff that I won't use
