<import addon="plugin.video.ustvnow" version="4.0.0" optional="true"/>

ok forget that. it doesn't work

just remove it

Is there an easy way to trigger a plugin to download and install when installing my addon.. Like a dependency?

that's what the <import.. > line is for ;-)
obviously that will only work if that addon is available in our repo.

New to this, forgive my ignorance.

no problem.

i noticed you distribute pseudo tv through your own repo.
if a user has your repo installed and your repo also contains the ustvnow plugin,
there shouldn't be a problem.

but, if you distribute your addon through a zipfile and the user has not installed your repo,
than the addon will fail as it can't find the ustvnow plugin in any of the installed repos.

My repo never works. Wiki confused me... Not the CRC building but addons.xml file structure. Because my git isn't one folder with many addons. So where does that file go...

Github does not work as a xbmc distribution repo. Don't try it, some tried and failed.
