Hi all, would love some help with this very strange problem ..

I've just upgraded to Frodo 12.2 and I can't get any of the scrapers to work. The really strange part is, whenever I set a content type for a shared folder and select which scraper I'd like to use, those settings don't actually save. That is, when selecting [Edit Source] to look back at the scraper settings, it's right back to [None].

I can't update my library, either manually or automatically on startup, and it's driving me nuts.

Does anyone have any good ideas?

Welcome to the XBMC forums.

Are you clicking the OK button on the bottom of the "Set content" page after editing your scraper setting? Are your other XBMC system settings being saved from session to session?

Yes, I'm pressing OK and yes, the other system settings are being saved.

When I adjust any of the scrapers, I always get through to the "Do you want to refresh content?" message and always press Yes however nothing happens .. not even the Scanning dialog popping up

Solved it, but only in the most drastic manner possible.

I deleted everything from my previous XBMC installation and did a completely clean reinstall. It sucked to have to recreate the library completely but at least everything now works ..
