Hey.

I juts bought a new receiver, my tv plays throug arc hdmi 1.4.

When i play music from itunes from my mac mini it works fine through my new receiver.

But whenever XBMC (on the same mac mini) try's to play no sound is avalible.

What should i do?

XBMC and HDMI audio on OSX are not the best of friends.

if you use a toslink and the digital out audio connector and set xbmc to optical, you can easily resolve this issue. Just adjust your receiver to use optical in for sound from the mac mini.

Try going to

XBMC -> Settings -> System -> Audio output

Scroll down and set "output device" to "default".
