Thanks for info. I'm on recent Kodi from github now and I decided to compile by myself but it's good to know that Gotham on debian finally works as should. Btw, really long time for fix, I was not patient enough to wait for fix, sorry.

You can simply recompile the kodi packages available here:
http://balintreczey.hu/blog/kodi-from-debian/
There are pre-built binaries for Sid, Jessie and Wheezy.
