Just received a G box midnight and tried to set up access to my NAS drive on the XBMC but it can't "see" the drive as when I enter the address it changes the \\fritbox-nas\ ....... to //fritzbox-nas/ ..... altering the slashes from back to forward, hence the file location is wrong. I have setup access on my Windows laptop and XBMC can access all the data; no probs........... HELP please

The \\ is a windows based listing where // is a more standard way to access file systems so I would expect that behavior.

Are you adding a source via the GUI or modifying souces.xml or what?

Thanks for the reply .......... I'm just trying to access the movies and music on a NAS drive which is connected to the same networks as a G box Midnight. using XBMC on my laptop "sees" all the files but the G Box says "path not found" when I enter the location as I set it on the laptop.
