If the RSS feed works with XBMC's RSS directory stuff, then just pointing the RSS feed at the slideshow would do the trick.

If that's not what you mean, then you'll need to give more information Smile
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.
Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules.
For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first.

i'm not sure if we're on the same page.

what I'm thinking about is what the OS X machines offer.
for example -- http://rssmore.com/
i'm not looking for something this complex... but yeah.. something that can take the RSS feeds, and just rotate through them in a screensaver mode.
as opposed to the ticker style on the home window.

i'm not sure of how to "point" the RSS feed to the slideshow.
what file extension should i use?

Hi All,

I am working on something similar... I am developing a screensaver based on spheres simple screensaver script. The screensaver currently consists of three modules a weather widget, a stock Quote widget and TOP 10 RSS Reader from n-tv. Currently, I have hard coded the Stock Quote and the RSS channel.

If anyone interested I can tailor it to make it generic with a configuration Interface.

Anyone interested ? Please find here a screenshot....

This look exactly like what I am looking for. I am going to download it now, do you have a repo for auto updates?

Thank you for sharing
Using KODI since 2002, back when Xbox Media Player ran on a modded xbox, soldered modchip and all..."the good old days."
