Known working devices

I couldn't find one but would a topic of use not be some form of "what device works" post.
I am awaiting a "pipo s1 pro" and wondered if anyone had XMBC on that ?

People could add their devices and review when they get it to work (or not).
Or perhaps I have not found the correct thread.

Did you think this might possibly belong in the hardware forum?
If I have helped you or increased your knowledge, click the 'thumbs up' button to give thanks :) (People with less than 20 posts won't see the "thumbs up" button.)

My current theory on the best way to go about that for XBMC for Android would be to list chipsets that are working, and then link to somewhere that will let you look up what chipset a specific device uses. So far I have not found a site like that, but to be honest, I haven't really looked that hard.

Ah, http://gsmarena.com seems good for phones. Now just need tablets and set-top-boxes.

Pipo S1 Pro looks to be Rockchips, which should work just fine. No idea about over-all quality on the tablet itself.
