Quick question... hoping someone knows offhand the answer to it.
I have an HP Remote (5069-8344)... set up just how I like it with EventGhost and the config file all backed up.
I am making an HTPC for my family to use... ideally I'll get the same remote/receiver and simply copy over my config file (reinstall the services) and have all the mapping done and matching my remote.
Question is, the 5069-8344 is an older model (prices also seemed to have doubled for the remote/receivers as well). Anyways, if I grabbed a remote that looked identical but the model number changed (ie. 5187-6727) would the mapping be the same? or are some of the signals for the buttons changed?
Remotes look identical, but the p/n changed so, gotta assume they changed something on the remote....
