is it possible to patch mplayer in xbmc to display the metadata tag when playing an ogg vorbis stream from say an icecast server. currently xbmc will play a stream file through mplayer, it just wont display the current song title, artist, etc; it just will display the name of the stream. i know that the current cvs of mplayer pre8 has the ability to display the metatdata tag. not sure how hard it would be to patch this over? any insight to this would be appreciated.
