Hi
Theres been a lot of questions about why the ne Haswell NUC reboots when we power down XBMC.
Ive found a way to power down and dont get it to reboot again the second time.
This is what is seem to be the problem.
When watching movie and shutting off the NUC, it reboots.
When it rebooted and you shut it off the second time it stays off.
This is because the second reboot you havent played a movie.
Ive tried this on my 2 NUCs and it works, would be good with some feedback from other users if it works for you too.
While browsing the menues and the shut off it stays off, after watching movie it reboots.
Try this:
Watch a movie, press STOP twice or X twice, then shut down, does it reboot? Hopefully not.
Start XBMC and browse the menues, shut off, does it reboot? Hopefully not.
I dont know anything about coding, but the issue seems to appear after watching a movie, so its in the coding i suppose?
Maybe a good thing to know for the developers.
My Bios's are loaded as default, i use both the new and old Bios.
If this works for you guys please respond and maybe we are a bit on the way solving the reboot issue with the new NUCs.
Regards Snakepit
