Hi all,
I hope you can help me as I've search forum after forum for a solution to this problem.
I can run 10GB 1080p and 720p videos with no pausing (presumably to buffer) whatsoever however when I play a 700-800mb video I get pausing every 5 minutes. When I play the video locally, no pausing. Surely if this was a network issue then I would experience the same problem playing all file sizes.
I have a dedicated HTPC (Win 7, i3, 4GB RAM) which streams media from another PC (Win 7, i5, 8GB RAM). The two are connected through homeplugs and a router and transfer at a speed of 70-85 mbps.
I have increased the XBMC cache to 500mb.
Any suggestions welcome.
