I'm having a weird issue with buffering. If I watch a large MKV movie (say 4gb's and above) the film will play without issue during the movie but then start buffering and pausing during the end credits. What is going on?

I store my files on a PC running windows 7 which my windows 7 laptop with XBMC accesses wirelessly.

I've tried adding and changing advancesettings.xml with different configs but the problem persists.

It's really weird that it only happens during the credits! It's like it knows and holds off for as long as it can till it can't hack it anymore!

I have the same issues like you only mine are halfway throughout the movie and is persisting after that, really weird. You tried nightly builds?

My first guess is the bitrate of the video is a lot higher during those end credits and that is why your connection can't hold up.
I am assuming (since you did not give any details or debug log) that you are playing a file stored on a fileshare over a wired network ?
