Right now when you cycle subtitles in Gotham it will also cycle to "subtitles disabled".
This is unneeded because right below "next subtitle" is the enable/disable button in the menu.

There was a pull request to do this but got shot down by me and others. I find that cycle through the disabled very useful as you only need on button to cycle/turn it off on the remote (without opening that menu)

O yes I see, but that could be taken into account: when using the menu rather then a direct button disabling is not part of the next subtitle cycle.

There's some talk in the team features discussion section about this as for excluding some languages as well.
