Is it possible to capture footage of XBMC going about it's business, when running Openelec on an Intel NUC?

Can't find much about how to do it in XBMC on Openelec though. Only in windows.

I thought there may have been an add on for screen capture video in xbmc?

There is an ability to do a still screenshot but not video of the system in action.

There are plenty of linux screen video capture programs out there, but none built into openelec afaik.

Was just wondering this myself.

Suspect the easiest route is to try and find a friendly gamer who has an Elgato, Hauppauge or Blackmagic HDMI capture card for recording their game play? That's how I've recorded PC outputs in the past for similar requirements - though I've also used screen recording software on a Mac in other situations.
