Hello all,
The tv remote does not work within xbmc but i dont know why. Because with my other tv I dont have any problems.

I doubt the telly has CEC control. It's only a couple years old that tech.
Easiest way to check the telly is to see if it has "EasyLink" if it has. Check that it is switched on and you've got it attached to the correct HDMI port. If it hasn't. You won't get it to work!

well i have samsung tv 2012 model and there was no cec control (Anynet+)
its not about how old or new your tv is
you need to check with philips customer service and get personal help on your product or model number

There is a chance that your HDMI cable is not CEC enabled. Not all HDMI cables have the extra pins required (so stupid).
Test: Take the HDMI cable from the TV that is currently working, and give it a go on the non-working setup.
Test2: Take the HDMI cable from the non-working TV and move it to the 'good' TV and see what happens.
