Win Certain channels not working
#1
So I posted awhile back about certain channels working in WMC, but not in XBMC through ServerWMC. You ended up releasing an update, which seemed to solve my problem and all was well.

Well, I recently got a new hard drive for my HTPC, so ended up with a new Windows 7 installation, set up WMC and reinstalled XBMC/ServerWMC. Long story short, I'm now having the same problem I was having in the original post, seen here: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid...pid1547034 I can confirm that I can watch and record the channels in WMC and successfully record from XBMC.

I've done everything I can think of, deselecting duplicate and out of range channels (which WMC seems to like to add to both "bad" channels). I am going insane trying to figure out why it was working before the format and not after. Nothing in the logs seems amiss, but I've pasted them below. The only thing I can think is that ServerWMC is trying to use the deselected sources for the channels, but that was fixed in a recent update.

If the problem is still as described in the thread, namely that you have multiple sources for a channel one is weak the other is strong. You can set the tuner priority in wmc for a channel so that it always picks the strongest tuner first. The problem was serverwmc did not import these channel tuner preferences from wmc for use with live-tv (the tuner prefs do get used for recording, since the windows service handles that). This is solved in the version of the server scarecrow and I are finishing up. If I can just pull my head out of my butt on some source control issues we will get it released.

The thing I don't know is how you solved it before. Anyway I just recommend hanging on for the new release.

Heh, I appreciate what you've done, head in or out of butt Smile

But yeah, before, when I had the problem, you released build 1095 and it just worked. I didn't see the fix in the changelog, but I just shrugged and life went on. But I see you just released build 1101, so I'll give it a whirl, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. I'll post back here with my results, but I can't interrupt football for now!
