Hello!
since month I am considering the building of my own XBMC machine. From time to time I am putting together some hardware - online - and then I always skip it. now again - I am looking for good hardware with the help of special threads here in the forum.
Putting together the right board with CPU, Ram and so on is one thing - buying a preconfigured device the easy way. So today I found the Acer Aspire XC600 for a very good price (470 Euro) with the following spec:
• Intel Core i7-3770 (up to 3,90 GHz), Quad-Core
• 8 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD, DVD Double Layer
• Intel-HD 4000, HDMI
• Form-factor: Mini-PC, Gigabit LAN, Card Reader
• DOS
As I already found a very nice case the question I have is:
is it possible to put the Acer Aspire XC600 HW into a Fractal Design Node 605 casing?
any reviews available of the Acer Aspire XC600?
do you think its still cheaper to configure my own HW for a nice XBMC setup?
thanks for the reply,
