[Wrong scrapper] Poster, Banner, Fanart
#1
Hey there!

first of all: Sorry for my english. i hope ill be understood.

I have a strange problem with banners, fanart and so on.

It appears for my TV-Shows.
I have 2 different folders wich are using 2 different scrapper.
1. smb://datacenter/datacenter/Animes/Ongoing (<-- using the anidb scrapper)
2. smb://datacenter/datacenter/Serien (<-- using the TVDB scrapper)

I dont like the automatically scanns for the tvshows and movies, so ive decided to create the "tvshow.nfo" manually.
In reference to a forum post about the anidb scrapper ive created the "tvshow.nfo" file with the link to the anidb entry of the series.

example:
http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=69

The example shows the Entry for "One Piece"
With that, xbmc is able to get the right information.
But i have 1 strange behaviour.

a good example is the Anime "Kingdom"
The scrapped information about this anime is correct. (Desc, Epidode Name and so on - everything fine so far)
but if i look in the DB, (Ive installed a mysql-server in order to create an own interface for xbmc --> more exp with mysql than sqlite3)
The scrapped banners are from anidb AND from TVDB.
It shows the banners from the anime Kingdom and from an TV-Show at TVDB wich has the same name. -.-

So heres the question:
Why is xbmc scannen the banners, wallpapers, fanart and so on with both scrappers, if the dir is defined with the anidb-scrapper only?

and the more annoying problem:
If i open the link to the anidb pictures, it appears correct.
But if i try to implement the pic on my interface with a simple "<img src=""></img>" it doesnt. Theres the small icon for "not available"

does anyone have an idea whats going on here?
Ive searched some forum posts and cant find a similar problem -> my english's too bad maybe...

I hope someone can explain my problem.

Not sure why this has been posted in the R-Pi section, presumably moving it to the Metadata/scrapers section might yield more useful responses.

AniDB pulls some data from anidb.net and then the rest comes from TVDB. I think most of the artwork and all of the episode-level summaries come from TVTB, because anidb doesn't have that data at all. It's how AniDB was made.
