Tried to install my own skin from git. Screen stays black.

Can't find cause in log. Can anyone else?

Doing screen refresh fixes the black screen. Or just restart XBMC also starts in newly installed skin.

The new skin skin doesnt get initialized if installed through zip. Best to make a trac ticket for this.

The trac user guide is down, and i still haven't figured out how to close tickets.
I remember people being unhappy about that last time. So perhaps i shouldn't..

not much of a help but, install from zip works ok at my end.
