Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone could shed some light/offer some advice – for this particular scenario
An example of my current TV Show naming convention is:
Almost Human S01E01 Pilot.mkv – this is being picked up/scraped by XBMC and works well – banners, fanart etc are being fetched and this is viewable in the TV Show menus of XMBC
An example of my current Movie naming convention for YAMJ is:
Movies\Apocalypse.Now.1979.720p.BluRay.x264-AVS720\Apocalypse.Now.1979.720p.BluRay.x264-AVS720.mkv
Movies\Apocalypse.Now.1979.720p.BluRay.x264-AVS720\Apocalypse.Now.1979.720p.BluRay.x264-AVS720.jpg
Movies\Apocalypse.Now.1979.720p.BluRay.x264-AVS720\Apocalypse.Now.1979.720p.BluRay.x264-AVS720.fanart.jpg
Movies\Apocalypse.Now.1979.720p.BluRay.x264-AVS720\Apocalypse.Now.1979.720p.BluRay.x264-AVS720.nfo
In XBMC, for this particular movie, it will not get any cover or fanart images and shows blank thumbnails. 98% of my ‘Movie’ folder are in this format
For the 2% it works fine in XMBC - where I just have the .mkv file – like Movies\Along.Came.Polly.2004.720p.Bluray.x264-BestHD\ Along.Came.Polly.2004.720p.Bluray.x264-BestHD.mkv – this is ok in XBMC and will fetch/scrape
I do not want to remove all the .jpg and .fanart.jpg files for 98% of my library (~1800 movies)
Can anyone suggest any painless way of me getting XBMC to work/scrape all my movies folders without me having to make excessive changes?
Many thanks in advance
