Xbmc frodo running on windows 7 on a Revo 3700, AVR is a Yamaha 3030, TV Samsung 75 inch gen2, using nas for streaming mkvs.
I have a stuttering video issue streaming mkvs from a nas ... And after following lots of threads and trying a vast number of suggestions, I cannot solve this issue!
Would anyone be kind enough to give me some pointers cause I am close to giving up on xbmc!
I can play mkvs perfectly from the nas using the smart tv with optical audio out to the avr,
A clue to the problem is when streaming a blu ray with hd audio, if I select audio output as hdmi the playback practically freezes. I can move to optical/coax output and the stuttering becomes only occasional albeit still exceptionally annoying!
I have tried using OE and encountered the exact same issue.
I know the hardware must be capable cause the sound and picture are amazing in between the stutters!
