Different resolution for video playback
#1
Hi! new here, but old user of xbmc since xbox 1

I have a computer connected to a CRT TV using RGB scart

The maximum flicker free resolution I can have is 768x288 PAL 50hz, and xbmc works great, very nice to use the gui without flickering

My problem is that I want xbmc to switch to 768x576 or 768x480 just when I play videos, to have high resolution, and just switch to 768x288 when I return to xbmc menu

Is possible?

The xbox 1 xbmc have some very good flickering control, that I can set very high to the GUI, and disable in videos... sadly I don't see nothing like this in the windows port.. true? or I miss some option?

Thanks!

I don't know if you can just do this on videos, and leave the gui different. However, something like that may be possible with setting up a different profile.
HP Stream Mini w/Libreelec -> HDMI -> Toshiba 37"
Intel NUC8i3BEH w/Libreelec -> HDMI -> LG OLED55C3PUA -> S/PDIF -> Sony HT-CT80
Dell Optiplex 7050 Micro w/Libreelec -> HDMI -> Yamaha RX-V467 -> HDMI -> Toshiba 47L7200U
