ok so I moved my movie collection and EMM to my HTPC, (they were previously just streaming through the network). Long story short, even tho all the poster and fanart and nfo are still in the movie folders, EMM needs to have me manually re-scrape each one?? This will take forever. So I tried importing the media.emm file from the other installation location, but it doesnt like it when I change the location path for the files, and it reverts it back to having no info for every movie.

anyone have an easy way for EMM to recognize everything in the movie folder so i dont have to manually re-scrape each one?

ok, well i deleted EMM and "reinstalled" it onto the new PC, again imported the media.emm file and then changed the path to show the new location. this time it DID import all the fanart and posters properly, so it looks like my library is current again.. so i guess i fixed it.
