Initially when I entered into Music Library I was am prompted with sub-menu eg Genres, Artists, Albums, Songs. I selected Albums as this is my prefered way. If I go out of music to lets say Movies and come back to Music it is displayed how I left it however when I close XBMC and open it again I am prompted with the sub-menus again and I have to select Album once again.

Is there a setting to keep it all memorised.

@denz, go to settings, press down arrow, in submenu select customize main menu option, go to music item -> use replace function for change music by music - albums (it´s availabe in right list), it´s easy for to do and work fine, Use rename function for change music albums for music, for have all options in submenu, use option clone item.

Thank you so much that worked perfectly. Now knowing this has given me some other ideas to customise the menu.
