XBMC Linux terminal....
#1
I am wanting to use a Proxy or VPN service with XBMC. I am running 12.2 Frodo on a Linux build on an M3 box. So far I have tried many Android builds and have found them to be terrible when compared to Linux. The only advantage I have found with Android is the ease that you are able to run a free Proxy add on like HideNinja to help with the issues we are hving in the UK. I have read that one way to do this kind of thing on Linux is to type a command into the Terminal window and that to bring it up you hold SHIFT, ALT and F2. I have a Wireless keyboard that is recognised by and will control the box, but have been, so far unable to envoke the Terminal window. Can somebody help me to either do it the way I have read about or to run my set up through a Proxy/VPN without altering my router settings and without affecting the speed of any streams.

Cheers, Gabs...
