Win XBMC crashes while scrapping
#1
Hi guys.

I set up my HTPC with the latest version of XBMC this weekend and I'm facing a problem that has never happend to me before while using XBMC:

My movies and TV shows are on an external HDD.
I installed XBMC fresh.

I tell XBMC where to find the movies and the TV Shows. At one point xbmc will freeze while scrapping in the movies/TV shows so that I have to reboot the PC.
Scrapping will continue after I restart.
But my DB is crashed.
In the main menu the "folders" "Movies" and "TV Shows" disappear.
I was looking in the video data folder and XBMC forgot which scrapper to use for the files. But I can't bring it back to work. When I tell XBMC to use the Movie-scrapper it will forget this adjustment the moment I hit the "OK" Button.

How can I fix this?

Sorry, took me a while to get back to my HTPC.

I reinstalled XBMC today and I got the same error again.

This is the Log file I got after it crashed:

Yeah, looks like the video DB is corrupt. In your userdata folder (wiki) there is a "Database" folder. Inside that there should be a file called MyVideos75.db. Delete that file and you should be back in business.

Thank you very much.

This did help me. But somehow my whole system got messed up, so I'm reinstalling Windows again right now.
