Hi, is slingbox the only way to integrate cable with xbmc? I don't need to record or anything, just view the content as it's being played

The PVR Addons allow you to both view and record content.

from what i'm reading, rogers channels are all encrypted unlike the providers in the states so pvr wouldn't really work........

is there a cheaper alternative like slingbox?
