That has crossed my mind and i didn't do it because of the plot/plotoutline toggle. But I am inclined to say that this is indeed better to have than that toggle. Probably will change it to that.

It only shows up for movies and episodes. Works here so must be something on your end.

I have selected rando fanart as background
Sometimes I do not have fanart for some movies/tvshows and it displays a black background in those cases
Would be nice to add a "ignore if no fanart" rule in the random engine

I'm trying to find out how to play trailer for my movies. I can swear it was possible when hitting the cursor up to start streaming movie from youtube or somewhere... is this feature removed?

Highlight a movie and press "I". This will open the movie info window. Depending on your system settings, you can also get to this window when you push "Select".

Did you have a chance to look at the artist slideshow issue in Aeon?
I am running Isenguard RC1 and Nox from your github.
If it works for you, then it maybe be something wrong with my setup
