Hi,

Searched the forum and hope I don´t post something thats answered already. 12.3 Desember edition - clean install, running on 10.9.1 Mavericks. Macbook Pro Retina 16gb 2.6 core i7. NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB. Mid 2012.

I start XBMC, it loads the EPGs (I use it to watch my Vu+ live tv box), and it ends "idle" but CPU never goes down. Stays on 100%.

XBMC v12 is temperamental about idle CPU usage, it seems. It seems to depend on what screen you leave it open on. All I can say is that this has been greatly improved in the upcoming XBMC v13, which we have nightly builds (wiki) of, if you feel brave.

Full disclosure: I work for WeTek. However, this is my personal account, and my words and opinion are my own.

HOW-TO: You can make easy links to the Kodi Wiki Manual using double brackets around common Kodi words: [[debug log]] = debug log (wiki), [[Video library]] = Video library (wiki), [[SMB]] = SMB (wiki) , etc

Great! Are there set any "release date" on a stable v13?

Ps. v13 solved the issue - however it seems "unstable" still but wonderful that it is fixing the problem. Can´t wait for the release date Smile
