Put all mini movies in one folder each with their own .nfo file?

I think I'm trying to do something that can't be done. I'm trying to put all of the animated mini movies (despicable me, toy story of terror, tangled ever after, toy story's small fry, cars toon - mater's tall tales, and things like that (not all pixar mini movies) all in one folder so there's not mini movies spread out over the entire movie list alphabetically. I would like all of the mini movies in one place. What I've done so far is I put them in a folder called

"Pixar Shorts"

then in that folder I made an .nfo file labeled "Pixar Shorts" with this link

http://thetvdb.com/?tab=series&id=81251&lid=7

then in that folder I have a folder labeled "Toy Story of Terror (2013)"

then in that folder I have an .nfo file labeled "Toy Story of Terror (2013)" with this link

http://www.themoviedb.org/movie/213121-t..._id=212685

I'm using theTVDb scraper to scrape the Pixar Shorts folder which is brought up fine it's just the contents of the folder show nothing in XBMC. Is it because I'm trying to mix too many different .nfo files? What I want to be able see is this

TV Shows/Pixar Shorts/Toy Story of Terror, Tangled Ever After, Cars Toons Maters Tall Tales all with their own posters and descriptions. Am I trying to do something that's not possible?

You call these mini movies, yet scrape them with a TV scraper? Stick to the movie scraper and try others, I think you'll find a lot are already in one database or another. You could also custom make your .nfo or just put a few jpegs in each folder as covers and exclude scraping, use file mode for those.

I think that xbmc is only going to use the NFO file named to match the short (Toy Story of Terror (2013).nfo), so the one for the parent folder is ignored probably. An alternative might be to set up the shorts as a custom movie set- http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=NFO...Movie_sets

Well they're half mini movies and half tv specials. I used the TV scraper to scrape the parent folder because the moviedb doesn't have it and I wanted to use the poster and the description. I think I'll try out the custom .nfo file / pictures and see if I can get that to work. If not I'll try movie sets.
