Please Help with Media Flags
#1
I am having issues with not being able to set flags in Frodo 12.1 with Aeon Nox 4 skin. I been searching, reading, testing, then reading more, even tried MCM and Ember but no luck.

My folders are Bluray BDMV folders:

Main Folder: Movie Name (Year)
Subfolder: BMVD
Subfolder: Certificate

I can't seem to get the folder/movie to be seen as a Bluray with DTS-HDMA audio flags. I tried everything I could find and nothing seems to be working. Can someone please help me? My DVDs with Video_TS folders show as DVDs fine - however just no audio flags. The files will play fine with TMT player. I have tried movie.nfo in both root and BDMV folders without success. Maybe the nfo file was not correctly coded but they were done with Ember and MCM. I am at a loss. Any help would be appreciated. Sorry hope this post is in the right spot.

The bluray flag can be controlled by file name.

I haven't done this with bdmv but I believe it would be something like
Moviename (year).bluray for the main folder. Or maybe a space in place of the period.

I've read that and tried what your saying to no avail. Looking for someone to help who has used BDMV Bluray folders and was able to get flags working.

This doesn't help? http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Med...dia_source

As a quick test I made a dummy file named: Ice Age (2002).bluray.1080p.mkv
This is the result http://i.imgur.com/zQQEXZt.jpg

The bluray flag showed up just fine. What else are you looking for?

The missing 3 in the bottom right corner are because xbmc couldn't detect dimensions/quality(obviously since it was an empty file).

Edit:
Apparently I breezed over the 'audio flag' part of the post Tongue No idea if the filename effects that.

Thanks, its more for full BMVD folders/rips - mkvs work fine. I cant get the audio flag right with full .iso blurays either. I have tried the filename naming schemes to no avail. Using "move.bluray.iso" for naming will show the full Bluray logo and movie name but no audio flags. If I name the folders for the BMVD movie rips adding bluray to the folder name does not show the bluray logo either. Has me stumped.

[SOLVED]

So yes indeed EMM v1.4 works. So for anyone looking to update any of the media flags (video, audio, studio, etc) EMM will work allowing you to edit anything else as well. Then the key is to go to the specific video/movie/tv show after updating it in EMM and force the title to update. To do this go into the "Info" section and hit "refresh" - when it asks to update from the internet or locally I chose locally and then it was updated perfectly. Thank you for pointing me to this update.

So for movies that are 1.78:1 - they show up as 16:9 - Do I have to add png files for these flags somewhere to this skin?

16:9 is the same aspect as 1.78:1

Doh, I just went to the aspect ratio wiki page and there it is clear as can be! Thanks for pointing it out. Strange though Aeon Nox has a 1.78:.1 png file - so I was assuming I was doing something wrong trying to force it. Is there not a way to have it show 1.78:1 where I have it listed as such? When would the skin use this png then?
