HTPC for less than £200?
#1
Hi all,

As the title says really. Would I be able to build a HTPC running openelec for less than £200? Ideally as small as possible. Would it be able to run 1080p?

I would like to run xbmc with a choice of several skins.

I don't require an optical drive or a large HDD.

Yep. If you want to do 3D you might need to look at something more powerful, but straight 1080p is not a problem. If you're really picky about frame-rates, it won't do 23.976fps properly, but then again neither will anything else apart from Haswell.
