I installed the XBMCbuntu 12.2 Nvidia and sound was working. I updated via apt-get update and aptget-upgrade.

I now have XMBC 12.3 (Compiled: Dec 13 2013)and I have no sound over HDMI, I cant even select the HDMI output in the Audio Output device because it doesnt even show up.

However, when I quit XBMC and log into XBMCbuntu as a user and launch XBMC, I can now select the HDMI output device in the settings and get sound. When I log out and log back into XBMC, same no sound issue.

What can I do?
