Hi I have a kit from pi hut with openelec and xbmc 12.2 pre installed. When I try and boot this up, I first get an open elec screen (with raspberry on) and then a black screen with the xbmc logo. This log just flashes on and off every 5-10 seconds. It seems as though xbmc is trying to boot and looping? I have left it for 15 minutes, but no change.

Any ideas what I need to do?

Most likely it's your power supply to the Raspberry Pi. Get a more powerful one. Often cheap USB power supplies won't actually supply what they say they will on their label, or using a USB port on a device or TV also won't provide enough power.
