Hi all
I have read previous posts stating that starting with Gotham AAC is being encoded to AC3 when you have an AC3 capable reciever.
That is however a problem on the Pi, since it will choke on the AAC-> AC3 encoding.
My AVR (Denon AVR-X3000) is fully capable of handling passthrough AAC, so it really is a step down for me.
I have LiveTV TV streams that are encoded as (H.264/AAC). The sound (and picture) stutters when watching these streams on the Pi..
Other LiveTV channels with AC3 sound play perfectly..
Please re-introduce the option to have AAC passthrough.
