Hi I've been running XBMCbuntu for a couple of months now and it's been working great. Just started playing around with the karaoke settings but can't for the life of me fine or see if there is option for the microphone and how to set it up. I've looked in all the XBMC menus tried booting into XBMCbuntu but nothing there ether tried booting into ubuntu but I never get a desktop. Any help links information what be much appreciated. Also done a bit of googling to avail.

There is no microphone settings there never have been and likely never will be.

I've been battling this for a while.. I finally got the mic (delayed) coming though the speakers using alsaloop. This stops working as soon as I play a song. My work around has been to use a mixer with a real mic and some computer speakers hooked up to the headphone output.
