Is there a setting change or a way to force ember to use american style as in '2012-11-17' instead of 17/11/2012

for tag <releasedate> in movies?

thanks in advance.

You can't configure this in Ember at the moment -are there any XBMC/YAMJ-Skin display problems with that naming scheme or just cosmetic reasons?

thanks for the help.

It was program/skin related until a workaround was found but it did seem weird cosmetically too that TV shows were in American format and Movies in UK format.

thanks.

I will add this as feature request for 1.4, if it the US timestamp doesn't break anything we might add this as optional setting later Smile

I firured out a way to use Notepad++ in combination with a Regular Expression to solve the Problem.

Just press Ctrl + h after you opened the nfo-file in Notepad++. then fill out the Dialog as follows:
Find what: ([0-9]{2})/+([0-9]{2})/+([0-9]{4})
Replace with: \3-\2-\1
Regula Exression: aktivate

That should work.
